Music That Helps Us Praise
One of the unique gifts of our contemporary worship service is its music, led by Zach Reinhard, a longtime member of Messiah Lutheran Church, musician, musical writer, and composer.
Zach brings his musical gifts and years of experience to help create a worship experience that is both engaging and deeply focused on God. Through contemporary songs and original musical expression, our worship music gives us another way to respond to God’s incredible grace and proclaim the hope we have in Jesus.
Grace Is the Reason We Praise
At the heart of our worship is a simple and powerful truth: God’s grace is a gift.
We don’t worship because we have everything figured out. We worship because God has loved us, forgiven us, and given us new life through Jesus Christ.

Holy Communion
Holy Communion is offered on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month.
A Gift of Grace We Take Seriously
At Messiah Lutheran Church in Clio, Michigan, we believe Holy Communion is a precious gift from Jesus Christ. It is a sacred part of our worship and something we approach with reverence, faith, and gratitude.
You are never pressured or required to receive Communion. If you are visiting Messiah, are unsure about Communion, or simply feel that you are not ready to participate, you are welcome to remain in your seat. There is no judgment and no expectation that you must come forward.
In fact, because we take Holy Communion seriously, we encourage you to learn more about what Communion means and why we celebrate it before receiving it.
